Artwork Research
Artwork Research may use information you submit together with publicly available information from artist websites, galleries, marketplaces, auction platforms, institutions, press sources, public databases, and other relevant sources.
Submitted artwork URLs and resulting research may be associated with your verified user identity so that you can access your research history.
CollectRight may use automated systems, including AI-assisted research tools, as part of this process. Public sources, first-party claims, and independent records are treated according to the research methodology described elsewhere on the site.
We do not sell your individual research history to artists, galleries, dealers, marketplaces, or other sellers.
Email and communications
Artwork Research may require email verification for access.
Operational messages may include:
- verification links or codes;
- security or access messages;
- research-related notifications;
- service notices.
If you separately consent to marketing or informational communications, CollectRight or Khabraal may also contact you about:
- CollectRight features;

- Artwork Research;
- Khabraal;
- related services or opportunities.
You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe link provided in those messages.
Unsubscribing from marketing does not necessarily prevent us from sending operational or security messages needed to provide a service you requested.
ZIP code information
CollectRight may require a U.S. ZIP code to use certain features.
We may use ZIP information to:
- confirm that a user is within the geographic area currently supported by the product;
- provide or develop geographically relevant information;
- understand broad geographic patterns in product use;
- improve services and outreach.
We do not use ZIP code alone to determine whether someone can afford artwork or to deny access based on the perceived economic value of a location.

Public information and submitted links
Artwork Research is built in part from information available on the public web.
A public webpage may contain information about artists, sellers, galleries, artworks, prices, exhibitions, or transactions. CollectRight may process and summarize that information in response to a user request.
Submitting a public URL to CollectRight does not make the contents of that webpage private.
However, your identity as the person who submitted a particular research request is treated separately from the public source itself.
Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this notice, including:
- maintaining user access and research history;

- preventing abuse;
- keeping consent and unsubscribe records;
- maintaining security;

- resolving disputes.
Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and why it was collected.
We may retain limited records after deletion where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, fraud prevention, or honoring communication preferences.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect personal information.
No website, database, or transmission system can guarantee absolute security.
