A practical way to decide

Create a move list with photographs, dimensions, values, and locations.
Identify works needing a conservator, custom crate, climate control, or specialist handling.
Confirm written liability and insurance before pickup.
Track crates, hardware, certificates, and multi-part works separately.
Inspect and update condition and location records at destination.
